Welcome to SmartCrop, where our journey began approximately 10 years ago under the visionary leadership of David Ibarra. With over 23 years of expertise in horticulture, arboriculture, and agriculture, David laid the foundation for a venture driven by a profound passion for the incredible impact bamboo can have on the environment. Recognizing bamboo's unique qualities, we are dedicated to harnessing its potential as a sustainable source of raw materials. Over the past 8 years we have had an opportunity to understand what it takes to grow, propagate, ship and plant bamboo at a scale.  The hands-on experience in Florida, Georgia, Carolinas and other SouthEastern States have allowed us to understand that Bamboo can be a viable Crop in the USA and the Western world.
